Second production line at Nangerd ballast mine opened, 250,000 tonnes a year

The second line at the Nangerd ballast mine in Ashtian was opened with the Markazi governor present. It is expected to supply at least 250,000 tonnes of ballast a year for southern, western and central lines.

Nangerd ballast mine site to be connected to the national rail network

The director general of Arak Railway said the Nangerd ballast mine site will connect to the national rail network through Nangerd station, supporting at least 250,000 tonnes of ballast a year for southern, western and central lines.
