Control is visual at the face and on the belt, and measured on samples: grading, density, absorption, wear. A batch certificate is issued when the purchaser asks for it and the tests have been done.
What we do not claim
Website tables are typical ranges used to define the product. They are not a substitute for the laboratory sheet of a named consignment.
Representative sampling
A sample from the top of a pile can be cleaner or coarser than the centre. Incremental sampling across the belt or loading stream gives a better picture of the batch. Seal, label and retain a split so a project can compare the delivered material with the reported result.
Traceability closes the loop
The certificate should connect quarry bench, product size, production date, test method and dispatch reference. When a result falls outside the target, that chain lets the plant isolate the cause, hold the batch and correct the process before more wagons are loaded.
